Will A Lump Under Jaw Show Up In Ultrasound Scan ?

Would ultrasound scan show up cancer when checked a lump under left jaw fairly big and one the size of a pea above the left jaw feels like it's some how joint together for some reason can move it a little feels firm but the one under the jaw feels hard ive had this for over 4 months.thanks
