Will Applying Salt On The Wart Help?

Hi im 12 years old and i have a medium sized wart on my ring finger on my left hand. I am a righty so its not a writers bump. I have tried freezing it and wart removal but it didnt work so now i am pulling back the skin and appling salt to the infected area. I just wanted to know if this method works
