Will Chlorine Affect My Bartholin Gland Cyst While It S Draining Pus?

Will chlorine affect my Bartholin gland cyst, it has been draining a little amount of pus. Ive been sitz bathing, and wearing a gauze in between gland and legs. Live in FL, and it is hot to say the least. would like to try enjoy a little bit of sunshine and pool time if possible. Tired of being on the couch. Seems like any outside minor active activity causes a minor flare up.
