Will diflucan make my nuvaring less effective? If so how long should we use back up birth control? I took 1st dose of diflucan 150mg today and will take 2nd dose in 48hrs my partner and I are not planning on any sexual activity for at least a week as I am taking this for a yeast infection. My pharmacist said it would not effect it but then the paperwork that came with the diflucan said it can. Thank you!
