Will It Be Harmful To Have The Pill Again Before The Beginning Of My Period?

hi im 18 and i have just had a 4 week break from the pill. I stoped after my last period. I didnt stop to try and get pregnant, i havnt had sex since stopping the pill, however im yet to start my period. i have been told having a break can make your next period irregular. would it do any harm to start taking my pill again before my period starts?
