Will My Sore Throat And Difficulty Swallowing After Being Choked Heal On Its Own?

Hi, My drunk dumbass brother decided to put me in a choke hold and did it way too hard and intense. Ever since then, my throat has been really sore and it’s not easy to swallow. Will this heal eventually? Or do I need to see a doctor? This happened April 12th.
