Will Polys On My Ovaries And Cervix Affect An IUD?

i am going to have an i.u.d. fittin in my womb at the end of the month, and will stop taking my birth pill contraception...yet i haven't had children before and was diagnosed with polys on my ovaries and in the cerfix of the top of my womb....will this affect having an i.u.d. being fitted, as the birth pill have reduced the amount of blood i have with my monthly periods, which may have been due to my polys as well...thankyou
