Will Probiotics Heal Swollen Tonsils, Fever And Eye Pressure?

I've got swollen tonsils, some fever/chills, pressure behind my eyes and stiffness/fatigue. I plan to just take fluids and ride this out, but I've heard lately about bacteria's role in fighting disease. Will probiotics make me heal more quickly? I haven't been to a doctor (likely won't go), and I'm not taking any antibiotics.
