Will Surgical Removal Of Pins In Penis Cause Erectile Dysfunction?

a few years ago in the military i accidently got a staple and pin stuck inside my penis ,then last year after hurting for a long time i had them removed except one pin and now it still hurts and i have lost a lot of filling and the erection only last about 2min if i have surgery to remove the pin would it make it worse ?
