Will Swelling Subside Having Undergone Circumcision Due To Phimosis?

Hello,
I just had a circumcision yesterday due to phimosis. I was able to retract, but just did it for sanitary reasons, plus for me to feel more "comforatable".. This am I took the bandages off as instructed by the doctor, only to find out my glans still "hides".. I had this done to prevent this problem, is this normal due to swelling, or did the doctor not do something right
I am not too happy with the results as of now
I am a 30 year old white male
