Will The Inability To Place A Stent During My Cardiac Catheterization Affect My Life Expectancy?

I am 84 years old. I had a Cardiac Cath yesterday. The doctor attempted to put in one stent.But the doctor said it wouldn t go and he said if he forced it it would have created more problems. It wasn t done. Will that lengthen or shorten my life or have no effect.
