Will Weaning Off Percocet And Starting MS Cotin Have Withdrawal Effects?

I seen a new Pain Management Doctor today. He switched me from Percocet 10/325 4 x daily to MS cotin 30mg 2x a day. He said the Ms Cotin is MUCH better for a chronic pain condition. I am scared I will feel withdraws from stopping the Percocet-- I have been taking the percocets for 3 years, but that pain doctor was no longer covered by my insurance so i had to switch Doctors. The new Doc. said The new meds will help with get me thru any withdraws that stopping the percocet may bring on but I am not convinced. What should I do.
