Woke Up In Middle Of The Night With A Sharp

Woke up in middle of the night with a sharp needle like pain in my lower left forearm. Felt like a bite or sting. But could not find anything that would have done that. Needle like sensation continued through night in left wrist and lower forearm. No apparent marks to indicate a bite or sting, but from wrist to middle forearm feels tingly with shooting pains like a funny bone hit. Just not in the funny bone.
