Would The Distended Uterus Appear As Polyps?

I had surgery on friday to remove polyps in my uterus. I was told that I have a misshaped uterus that caused the appearence of polyps.I have not been able to see my doctor yet. Why would I still have a d&c in this case? What is a misshaped uterus.What problems can it cause. I have been having stabbing pain in my groin and in my vagina and rectum.I been told by several doctors its muscular.Can this be the case.
