Would There Be Any Reason Why My Surgeon Didn't Let

Would there be any reason why my surgeon didn't let me know that she had to excise some of my stomach to remove scare tissue from my splenectomy. Apparently my spleen 17 cm, and was attached to the stomached; surgery went fine, but went I got home I noticed I was getting full really fast and nauseous. She finally told my wife what she had done after being questioned, now I am adjusting how I eat. Please give me some feedback, thanks.
