YES, good evening...my mother is 86 yrs and is going strong. 4 or 5 months ago was bitten by an insect on her leg (maybe spider or tick she thinks), ER, etc., treated multiple times, multiple doctors, skin, eye doctors, now looking for an Immunologist in Charlotte,N.C., where myself and 2 sisters live (she lives by herself in Myrtle Beach, S.C.) She is obsessed with small white dots under (or on) her skin, arms, legs near the previous bite site, face and ears. Literally we see no sign of these little white dots on her skin (they eventually turn brown she says). Steroid creams, antibiotics and current treatment by mouth for RMSF (blood work showed negative for RMSF). Most attribute her age...this she does not take well at all! She is a retired career nurse. From many doctors (there and back again) to doctor to find out why she is a 'host' to some malady (somewhat paranoid and definitely worried). This has the whole family concerned. We are working on moving her to Charlotte, soon! Thank you, for any advice- Chip (son)
