Years Ago I Had A Collapsed Lung And Because It

Years ago I had a collapsed lung and because it wouldn't inflate, the doctor went down my throat to check the lung. In so doing, I was told they scraped the vocal cord(s). I didn't notice the difference in voice but others noticed my voice was deeper - I am female but sound like a male. Is there something I can do to change it?
