Yes! Awhile A Ago I Had A Mishap At Work

Yes! Awhile a ago I had a mishap at work and I tripped over a pallet backwards my leg went one way and my left knee went the other way and I heard something pop in it. Sometime I can't bear weight on it and it feels like it's going to give out or lock. I can't ice it it burns when I do and whenever I put something warm on it it turns fire engine red. I'm afraid there's something wrong with it. I can't get it checked I don't have decent insurance.I reported it to my boss and he said I was insobordent what should I do?
