Yes Having had cancer and many c.t. Scans in the last 5 years , bowel removed and revearsal done. Now more problems with thqt means mor X-rays and c.t sca. If I pay would it be better for me to have MRI
. Also my knees are most swollen and unbearable to bend of move them and I am on Morphine, could they not have give me MRI instead of Ultra sound and they could not see....much so straight away had anothe ray and not to be out of th woods yet I have pleural plaques with ASBESROS inside and awaiting another c.t. Scan soon, surely if I asked they would do MRI. Why are they so hesitant nd WHY ARE WE NEVER AUTOMATICALLY ASKED WHICH WE WOULD PREFER. is it less dangerous also to have MRI THal C. Scan and X-rays if my legs and big swollen knees are worrying me, after two X-rays, I can and WILL ask My dr, who says that it will be o.k to have another C.T? Your truthful thoughts on which is best would be greatly appreciated
