Yes, I am a 70 yr old female who had a total abd. hysterectomy when I was 38 yrs. old. Both ovaries were removed also. I have been on Estridiol 0.05mg transdermal patched 1 patch BID Q. wk. without any problms. I went to two Nurses conferences in 2014 and both Endocriologist and OB/GYN stated every women should stay on this transdermal patch until they die. Now my Medicare Part D Optium RX does not want me to take even though my prescription pays for it. My OB/GYN wrot them an faxed information on why I am still taking.
Please advise is you are aware of these changes with Estridiol patches. I have taken the tablet but continued to have hot flashes with them.
