Yes. I had very bad reaction to nitrofurantoin for an UTI without symptoms. It was prescribed by my internist who said the only other thing that works is Bactria. This is of grave concern because i am due
for a sacrocolpopexy on Aug5 and must clear the infection before surgery. I normally would be prescribed Cipro for this condition,but my internist says that it will not work on this this one. What to do? Of course, it's the weekend! :(
