Yes, I have Hep c geno type 1b, I had a liver transplant in 2009. I now have kidney failure and I am on dialysis. Went to have my kidney transplant and was two days from transplant and found out my platelets were very low so they cancel ed transplant and advised that the liver transplant team deemed it to be to dangerous to have the transplant, and was told there would be a new medication for hep c or coming out st the end of Jan or the first of Feb. And was advised if I saw this to contact them and I would be put on the medication for my hep c then we would try for the kidney transplant again. I have a living donor, we are a match and I was wondering if you knew what the name of this medicine was. Thanks
