Yes. I Have Trigeminal Neuralgia Which I "think" May Have

Yes. I have Trigeminal Neuralgia which I "think" may have progressed to a great deal of pain from taking Lisinopril for B/P. A very stressful event happened. The pain increased to non stop, some relief from a muscle relaxant and Tylenol. I had taken the Lisinopril a few years ago and developed a cough, but I had forgotten this when family Dr. put me on this. ( I am 80 years old, a former nurse, but still I forgot).
Went to my cardiologist. He reminded me of my allergic reaction, put me on PlENDILl CR 2.5 MG TAB, one po daily. Now, I am noticing a cough, and the Trigeminal Neuralgia has flared up, also my neuropathy in my legs and back pain, the later could be imagination, but the pain is there.

At one time, I was on Bystolic 5mg. and I do not remember a side effect, except for my price--$100 plus, thus the Motroponol ( sp.?), but I developed Bradycardia, landed in the hosp.. This is why the Dr. is using Plendil, and am wondering what to tell my Dr. He did not wish to use Bystolic because it also slows the heart rate.

I feel lost right now, the pain and cough is worse after this last Rx, and I know that my B/P does need controlling. I am about 108 lbs, age 80. What do you think? Nancy
