Yes, My Husband has a "push" Port and has had it since April 2015. He had Chemotherapy On Monday Jan 31st. We disconnected at around 1:00 pm on Wednesday, around 2:00pm. His port site is red. Just where the actual port is not swelling yet. We have applied antibiotic cream and band aid until tomorrow. He had a bad cold about a week ago, PCM gave him a Z-pac Which he finished a week ago Saturday.
