Yes, can a synovial cyst be caused by a fall and hard trauma to lumbar 4/5 that area?
I have had two surgeries last year June 19 2014 and this year June 18 2015 The first cyst was huge and lodged on my spinal cord the second cyst was
found six month after my first surgery lodged on my S1 nerve. I was 49 at the time I was sitting in a chair eating when it collapsed and took me with it hitting a hard surface. I felt a snap in my back lots of pain at the time of fall?

I have a situation as well with my hip? I have been in PT for almost a year dealing with all this. My spine is in great condition. The doctor wanted to remove my joint and put rods in me and screws I said No.. I have never ever had anything wrong with me until that incident. I can’t find any research indicated a fall causes synovial cyst
