Yes i took levaquin last May for pneumia. On day ten of the antibiotics I got where I could not walk. My doctor sent me to the orthopedist because of RIGHT knee problems. I have been 4 times with different problems of the knee. I feel it is a ham string strain. Sent me to sonogram and mri. Mri says severe arthritis, so he jumps to needing a knee replacement. I said no way, because since I have been out of short term disability the knee is much better. On December 7, 2016, I was walking at work and my LEFT ankle starts hurting like I was crush the foot just walking on it. On December 14, 2016 went to knee dr. and told him about the left ankle and the right ankle. He says he does not do feet I need to wait and see foot DR. Can't see him until 2-14-17. On Saturday, my ankle swells up the size of a grapefruit and this is while I have been staying off to let it rest. I kept it on ice yesterday for about #3 hours before it quit hurting. I have been at home with little walking today and it swells up again this afternoon and is very painful. So I got the ice again. I still feel all of this is from the Levaquin because I used to walk at work 5 to 10 miles a day. For the last month I have tried to keep it under one mile, walking in house doing daily activities. It was hurting so bad before ice I was thinking about going to a walk in clinic tomorrow because I cant get into the joint dr till 2-14-17. Got any suggestions?
