Yes, My Grandson Was Just Diagnosed Today With Scarlet Fever

Yes, my grandson was just diagnosed today with scarlet fever and strep. I was with him at a party yesterday for several hours and he handled something of mine that I touched soon after. I am supposed to babysit him and his sister tomorrow and wanted to know if I can catch this. I'm very certain I never had scarlet fever, but I used to get strep throat often as a kid. I just found out that I have COPD and don't want to take any chances with getting sick.
