Yes My Husband Had A Sudden Onset Of Swelling And

Yes my husband had a sudden onset of swelling and severe hand pain seemingly after a respiratory infection . Saw hand Dr and rheumatology .RA and gout ruled out-waiting for lab reports from rheumatology. Any thoughts? Pain is relieved with oral cortisone use every day.
