Yesterday I Was Putting My Son In A Shopping Trolley,

Yesterday I was putting my son in a shopping trolley, his leg got caught and his shin landed heavily on the side. He now has an inch sized bruise and lump. It is painful to touch but he can walk on it fine. I don't want to waste anybody's time but should I take him for an X-ray to be sure there's no fracture?
