Yesterday, after blood tests, urinalysis, CT Scan, and MRI, my diagnosis was : bilateral white matter disease. I have read some on this and have some medical knowledge from having taken an EMT course. All my tests came out fine. I eat right, my BP is where it should be, but I do have a history of DVT and use warfarin, plus a history of peripheral vascular disease. I will be 70 in four months and am not overweight. Should I try to see a neurologist to find out what might have caused this and should I limit certain activities, since the reason for the hospitalization was my having short time (4-5 hr.) memory loss?
