Yesterday My Neck Was Stiff And Throbbing Going From My

Yesterday my neck was stiff and throbbing going from my shoulder to up behind my left ear! It got so bad I had to sleep before I could drive home. I later drove home and took 600 mg Ibupropen. I had a difficult time relaxing as it was throbbing so badly. A heating pad gave some relief ...Today was better but I took 400 mg Ibuprpen this morning.. BP seems ok. Is it serious, can I wait?
