Yesterday The Large Vein On Top Of My Right Foot

Yesterday the large vein on top of my right foot stung like a wasp sting. No evidence of such. During the evening my ankle and calf became a hot feeling and swollen some. I have varicose veins. My concern is of a clot or another collapsed vein. The leg below my knee feels warm, slightly swollen, and tingly like a nerve. What do you think?
