A Few Days Ago I Noticed That I Had A

a few days ago i noticed that i had a swelling inside my throat right above what would be my adams apple ( im female ) . its is only sore because i keep feeling it and i am not having problems breathing or eating, Is it normal have this and will it go away if i stop touching it,
