A Friend Is Having Chronic Migraines Above Her Right Ear.

a friend is having chronic migraines above her right ear. what part of the brain does that involve? Being someone who has had a stroke what level of seriousness would you give it? Her doctor has prescribed meds but am wondering if there should be tests as to why migraines are occurring.
