About 2 Months Ago I Cut My Pinky Finger On

about 2 months ago I cut my pinky finger on my left hand while slicing an avacodo. the cut went diagonally downward on the side/inside of my finger (next to my ring finger) just below the knuckle. It was pretty deep and I probably should have gotten stitches but i did not. It has since healed but there is a swollen lump and it it still very sore to the touch and also when i bend my finger all the way closed to make a fist. It is slightly pink in that area as well. What should i do now?? could it just be scar tissue and taking longer to heal or does it sound more serious??
