After How Many Hours On The Skin Is Fluocinonide Oint

after how many hours on the skin is fluocinonide oint 0.05% ineffective? meaning, how long should you leave it on your skin before it is useless? I've been leaving it on six hours and then put on a light gauze on that it doesn't get on clothes, furniture, dog, etc, but if it's pointless hours less I'd love to wash it off faster. but i also want to get the most out of my medicine, so......what?
