Am Taking 2400 Miligrams Of Gabapenton Daily For Nerve Pain

am taking 2400 miligrams of Gabapenton daily for nerve pain (not seizures or epilepsy) I will run out about a week prior to my insurance refilling it, they had the wrong fill date and won't refill it until it reaches a April 1, I run out tomorrow...I will be going off of it cold turkey. I know my dr.'s have said (and the bottle says) not to go off cold turkey but I am trying to figure out what the risks are and what to watch out for. To fill the prescription without insurance is almost $300 for a 30 day supply...
