What does this mean: comminuted intraarticular fracture of the base of the middle 5th phalanx with mild displacement as well as poss fracture of the base of the 5th distal phalanx & the head of the proximal phalax. and: Displaced avulsion fracture seen in the volar aspect of the base of the middle phalanx of the 5th digit with intra-articular extension, flexor tendon mechanism injury.
