Been Told I Have Osteoarthritis In Both Hips. Was Recommended

been told I have osteoarthritis in both hips. was recommended for hip replacement and currently awaiting to schedule it. however today as I was walking I had an odd sensation down both legs, they couldn't hold my weight and I felt like I was going to pass out. they did not become numb. after resting for several minutes I was able to resume walking. should I be concerned about this ?
