Bout A Week Ago, My Husband Recently Developing Water Retention

bout a week ago, My husband recently developing water retention in the scrotum, likely due to diverticulitis bout...also has CHF (new dx in April). Started taking Lasix/Furosemide tablets. This condition is very painful and I'm having trouble finding helpful information for what else to do...Kind of think the diverticulitis has something to do with because it there was not water retention before that.
