Can A Sudden ( Recommended ) Increase In The Dosage
can a sudden ( recommended ) increase in the dosage of lipitor ( from 30 mg to 80 mg ) daily as ordered by the cardiologist have an undesirable side effect ..notably cause a urinary tract infection?
I do not understand the causality here . or is this just pure coincidence & the UTI has another cause?
I am 63 yo male w coronary artery disease and the cardiologist recently ordered me to up the dosage to get the LDL way down
not experiencing any of the other ( more frequently & More serious ) side effecets such as muscle pain etc.
