Can An Upper Stomach Problem Cause Coughing And Mucus Especially

can an upper stomach problem cause coughing and mucus especially right after eating? I aspirated 5 mo. ago and have continued to cough with mucus but not as much as 2-3 months ago?
what could be the problem? I have had a soft tissue neck scan and a swallowing test that was negative. a lung scan 4 mo. ago, I had an 1.9cm. nodule on right lung.the neck scan and swallowing test was normal.
