Dear Doctor My Wife Was Under Medication With Zupion Sr

my wife was under medication with zupion sr 150 after breakfast and qutan 100 before dinner for last six months, for tratment of bipolar disorder,with intemittent misses. however since last one month, she has stopped both the medication and gradually becoming more depressive and detatched. she is not willing to consult the docyor also. would it cause much harm, if she can not be made to resume the medication?
