did I do something really stupid? 6 weeks ago I took 1 x 100mg of allopurinol .
5 years ago after 4-6 days at 300mg my doctor had me discontinue using it because it seemed to exacerbate an existing facial dermatitis.
I took the recent dose as a test to see if there was a real hypersensitivity; there is, the same dermatitis flared again. Rash cleared in 3 days, but gout flared a week later, and again last week an XXL flare. lots of ibuprophen and colchisine and gout pretty good ... but eyes are super bloodshot / gritty
Should I be concerned that something worse like DRESS could be coming?
