Fell Down The Stairs A Few Years Ago And Still

fell down the stairs a few years ago and still have a lump under the skin which can be painful, almost stinging feeling, at times. Now I am having problems with sciatica and it seems to start right at the spot were the lump is and travels down my right leg. I was told that the lump couldn't be removed because of infection. But was wondering if the nerves are being compromised from the lump?
