For The Last 30 Minutes My Right Eye Started What

for the last 30 minutes my right eye started what I can call bolt of lightening type light flash. no pain just weird. I was outside and we live by a dark wooded area. I turned so my right eye was looking at the dark and still had the bolts? but what bothered me was that I closed my eyes, and still see the bolts. Is this just minor or should I get to er?
