Good Morning Doctor, In The Year 1996, I Developed Small

good morning doctor,
in the year 1996, i developed small bowl obstruction and was operated and a small portion of the intestine was removed to block the free flow of food .
but almost for the last 20 years i develop the same problem evey 2 or 3 months and gets admitted in hospital and managed by ivl and antibiotics .
would you suggest any medicine to keep my intestine movement normal. recently doctors have found that intestinal movement is slow at times which develops into this complication

i also take ganaton 50 mg twice a day. but one surgeon says take it and another says no need.
we are short of medical gastroentrologist in chennai and most of them do only endoscopy and colonoscopy. the others are surgeons.
