Had Blood Drawn The Other Day. Right Before I Had

had blood drawn the other day. Right before I had it drawn, I put a peppermint in my mouth to distract me from the needle prick pain. When I received my results, my glucose was at an alarming level. I have never been told before I had any problem with my glucose levels. Could the peppermint be the reason it spiked so high?
