Had Sex For The First Time About A Year Ago

had sex for the first time about a year ago and bled, bright red blood that stopped shortly thereafter. I did not consult a doctor because I assumed that was a torn hymen and not something to worry about. did not have sex again until a couple of weeks ago, when I slept with a new partner and there was no blood. yesterday, I had sex with this partner and bled, again bright red blood that stopped shortly after it began. is this something to worry about? I'm assuming it is a vaginal tear as I was not as aroused as the previous times. is this a safe assumption or should I go visit my gynecologist? thank you for your answer.
