Have A Searing Pain At The Top Of My Right

have a searing pain at the top of my right leg/hip., it happens when i move my leg a certain way and then i nned to sta still and gently move le in diifferent direction until it goes away. when it happens cannot walk or even move my leg. seems like it might be at top hip socket any idea what this might be? should i see my orthopedic
